The lamination method is used to apply a protective coating to the card. When lamination is carried out in special presses, the process of sintering layers of plastic is carried out, as a result of which the card becomes a monolithic whole. The lamination process takes place at high temperature (up to 140 degrees C) and high pressure. The paints used to print the images of the front and back of the card can fade (change shades) when heated and laminated. The equipment offered by OSTCARD has a high class and allows the paints to remain as bright as before the lamination was applied.
